| FAIR WINS WALKER 50 Defending Late Model Stock Car Division Champion Rick Fair started off the season with his cars finishing one, two with Fair winning in his #6 Ford and Chad Daniels drivind the #9 Dodge for Fair finished 2nd. This was Fairs 6th Career LMSCD win moving him past Brad Ferguson and Brett Smallwood and into a tie for 14th on the Alltime list with Mitch Oehmke. It was Fairs 13th UTAC win moving him past Reese Walker and into a tie with Justin Alvey for 21st on the Alltime Career wins list. The other Feature drivers were, Ed Holtz finished 3rd, John Busscher 4th ScottHanks 5th and rookie Steven Wolf 6th. Fast Qualifier was the #11 Toyota of Ed Holtz with a speed of 12.751 mph. Eds time of 11.63 was the only time under 12sec, however still off the track record of Gary Boyds 10.94sec and 13.555 mph set in Feb 06. The alltime mark is by Chuck Alvey with a speed of 13.625 mph set on 7/15/05 during qualifying for the Trophy Race.. |

| JAY HANKS FIRST LMC WIN Jayson said he built two new LifeLike cars for the 2011 Late Model Challenge season but decided to go with the Tomys during practice and it paid off with his first LMC career. Hanks who was the Late Model UTAC Rookie of the year back in 86' is in his 3rd year of a comeback and at least for now is leading the LMC standings. Jaysons winwas his 8thCareer UTAC win overall tying him with Ryan Zimmerman for 28th on the Alltime wins list. Hanks and Rookie Steven Wolf were involved in the first crash of the race on lap 6, the next 24 laps were caution free before a wreck on lap 30 involving Rick Faie and John Busscher allowed Hanks back on the lead lap. Eric Holtz lost a lap with a crash on lap 33 but got it back two laps later to set up a 5 lap dash won by Hanks at the line. During Qualifying Ed Holtz set a new track and speed record with his #1 96'Chevy LL with a time of 12.53sec/11.835mph breaking the old mark of 12.58/ 11.788mph set by Scott Hanks in2006 in an X2 powered Buick. |

| Marty Wins Walker 20 Marty Thompson repeated as winner of the Walker 20 Sportsman race with his #51 JL Camaro. This was Martys 17th career Sportsman win. Thompson now has 23 total UTAC wins moving him past Blake Hyde and into a tie with Joe Altadonna for 14th on the Alltime list. Ed Holtz managed to stay on the lead lap with Thompson all of the race but couldnt quite match the speed of the #51. Ed finished 2nd , Jay Hanks 3rd, Sterling Thompson 4th, Jon Busscher 5th and Eric Holtz 6th to round out the Feature drivers During Qualifying Martys time of 21.63 was just off his recordog 21.59/6.869mph set last year. It is however the2nd fastest speed record, knocking off Chuck Alvey 21.68sec set in 06'. |
